01 The Short Version
Progress through four main phases: Early (1-30), Mid (31-60), Late (61-90), and Endgame (90+). Early is about clearing campaign and unlocking modes. Mid is building your roster and joining a clan. Late is optimizing buildings and professions. Endgame is min-maxing Mythic lineups.
Here's what to focus on at each stage so you don't waste time or resources.
02 Early Game (Levels 1-30): Just Play the Game
Don't overthink this phase. Your goal is simple: clear campaign stages to unlock all game modes. Build a core team of 5-7 heroes using whatever Commons and Rares you have. Upgrade your Command Center to level 5 for passive income. Do your daily missions for gems and resources.
The biggest mistake new players make at this stage is worrying about optimization. Just experiment with different heroes, learn what they do, and push campaign.
03 Mid Game (Levels 31-60): Building Your Roster
Now you start replacing Commons with Rares and Epics. Build the Sawmill for wood and Gold Mine for gold. Join a clan — Clan Wars and Clan Hunt give excellent rewards.
This is when Forge Stones become important. Focus them on 3-4 core heroes. Start saving gems for limited summon events. Your team should start having defined roles: a Tank up front, damage in the middle, support in back.
04 Late Game (Levels 61-90): Buildings and Synergies
Buildings unlock at level 61. They provide passive resource income — don't ignore them. Focus on Legendary and Mythic heroes for your main team. Max out key buildings before expanding to new ones.
This is where profession synergies and formation strategy start mattering most. Your early-game flexibility narrows into specialized teams for each game mode.
05 Endgame (Level 90+): Min-Maxing
You're optimizing Mythic lineups for each game mode now. Focus on hero merge levels rather than unlocking every new hero. Save resources for new Mythic releases through limited banners.
The difference between good and great endgame players comes down to formation adjustments and hero timing. Small optimizations compound. Coordinate with your clan for top-tier Clan War rankings.
